IT consulting for businesses that need to make a decision

The most expensive IT decisions are rarely the wrong devices. They're the decisions nobody made: the server that keeps running for another year because nobody knows what comes next; the software chosen because one vendor called first; the two quotes you can't compare because they describe different things. Here, consulting doesn't mean a presentation. It means someone looks at what you have, listens to what you're planning, and writes down what that means for your technology.

When consulting pays off

• There are two or three quotes on the table, and nobody in-house can compare them on technical merit.
• A server, a phone system or a piece of software is reaching end of life, and what replaces it is still open.
• The business is growing, moving or building — and this time the technology is meant to be planned in advance.
• The current provider is the only one who knows how everything fits together.
• IT costs are rising, but nobody can say exactly what for.

• Assessment: devices, servers, network, licences, contracts, access — recorded in writing
• Evaluation: what still holds up, what's a risk, what costs more than it delivers
• A concept with a sequence and a rough cost estimate, not a wish list

How consulting works

1. 01

   Initial conversation, free of charge

   Thirty to forty minutes by phone or video call. Afterwards we both know whether there's anything to advise on at all, and what it would cost. We don't bill this time.

2. 02

   Assessment

   We look at what's actually there — usually remotely, on site for building and event technology. The result is an overview that rarely exists in this form beforehand.

3. 03

   Written concept

   You receive a document with findings, recommendation, sequence and cost range. It's written so you can also hand it to another provider — that's the point of independent consulting.

4. 04

   Implementation — with us or without us

   If you give us the implementation, we credit the consulting hours to the project. If you give it to someone else, that's not a problem: the concept belongs to you.

What consulting costs

Consulting costs €95 per hour, on-site appointments €120 per hour plus travel. The initial conversation is free. An assessment with a written concept typically takes between half a day and two days of effort for a typical business; we state the estimate beforehand and either keep to it or let you know before it's exceeded. If you give us the implementation, we credit the consulting hours. Estimated prices, net plus VAT.
