Video, sound and stage technology for halls and events

WVM-IT plans, installs and supports event technology in Upper Austria and beyond: sound, light, video and stage technology for halls, clubhouses, community centres, hotels and company events. Fixed installations are quoted per project after a site visit; on-site work is billed at €120 per hour plus travel unless a fixed price is agreed. We reply to enquiries within 24 hours.

In most halls there is technology somebody once set up and that nobody has really understood since. There are three remote controls, two of them without batteries, and a mixer that only one particular person is allowed to touch. As long as that person has time, it works. The evening it goes wrong is always the evening a hundred people are sitting in the room. We build systems somebody can operate the first time they see them — and document what is connected where.

What usually holds a hall back

  • The sound is too loud up front and unintelligible at the back — the system was never calibrated.
  • Every event starts with twenty minutes of looking for cables and a call to “the one who knows how it works”.
  • Talks, live music and a film night all get the same settings, even though they are three different jobs.
  • Feedback from wireless microphones because frequencies and positions were never planned.
  • The technology depends on one person; if they're unavailable, the event doesn't happen.

What we take on

  • Sound: speakers, amplifiers, mixer — planned for the room, not picked from a catalogue
  • Wireless microphones: frequency planning, quantity, charging stations, so nothing interferes
  • Lighting: general light, stage light, simple scenes at the push of a button instead of desk operation
  • Video: projection or display, feed from laptop, camera and streaming connection
  • Stage: signal paths, connection panels, power distribution, order behind the stage
  • Briefing and a short written guide — one page, laminated, next to the desk
  • Support for individual events: setup, running the evening, takedown

How a hall becomes reliable again

  1. 01

A visit to the room, not a call

We listen to the room and see what's there. Reverberation, seating plan, stage height and existing cabling decide the result more than the speaker brand.

  2. 02

Concept with equipment list and price

You get a solution matched to the events that actually happen at your venue. What exists and still works stays — we don't replace things just to sell something.

  3. 03

    Setup, calibration, briefing

Installation, sound calibration in the empty and the occupied room, fixed presets for the typical occasions. At the end there's a short briefing and a guide that still makes sense in two years.

  4. 04

    Staying reachable afterwards

Before a bigger event we're happy to check in again on request. If something still comes up, you can reach us at +43 676 3808501.

Why there is no starting price here

Between sound for a club hall and a stage with light, video and streaming lie orders of magnitude; a starting price here would be a number that says nothing. We look at the room and calculate per project with an equipment list. On-site work is billed at €120 per hour plus travel unless a fixed price is agreed; remote planning and coordination at €95 per hour. Estimated prices, net plus VAT.

Frequently asked questions

What does event technology for a hall cost?

That depends almost entirely on the room size and what the room needs to do. Intelligible speech sound for a club hall is a different project from a stage with lighting and a video feed. After a site visit you get an equipment list with a price — before that, any figure would be a guess. On-site work is billed at €120 per hour plus travel.

Do you upgrade existing equipment, or does everything need to be new?

Most halls have more usable equipment than the people using them think. Often what's missing isn't the technology but the calibration, sensible cabling and operation that doesn't overwhelm anyone. We first check what the existing equipment can do.

Do you also support individual events?

Yes, per project: planning, setup, operation during the event, takedown. Scope, timeframe and price are agreed in writing beforehand, so there's no surprise on the invoice at the end.

Can you record or stream an event?

Yes. We plan the camera, vision mixing and the connection to a streaming service; the limiting factor is almost always the building's internet connection, not the technology in the hall. We check that beforehand, not on the day of the event.

How far do you travel?

We're based in Lenzing in the Vöcklabruck district. We're regularly on the road in the Salzkammergut and around Vöcklabruck, Gmunden, Wels, Linz and Salzburg; beyond that we calculate travel openly and state it before you commit.

What's happening at your venue?

Hall size, the usual events and what technology is already there — that is all we need for a first assessment. A reply within 24 hours.
