WVM-IT runs and maintains company websites: hosting with SSL and daily backups from €15 per month, maintenance with updates and small changes from €39 per month, domain from €15 per year — together €54 per month. We also take over sites somebody else built and run them independently of location across Austria and Germany.
A website is not a purchase, it is a piece of operating equipment. Certificates expire, systems need security updates, contact forms eventually stop working quietly. That rarely shows immediately — usually only when no enquiry has arrived for weeks and somebody goes looking. Maintenance is the cheapest insurance against exactly those weeks.
What happens without maintenance

- The contact form has sent nothing for weeks and nobody notices.
- There is no backup — after one mistake the site is gone.
- Nobody knows where the domain and the credentials actually are.
What is included
- Hosting on our own infrastructure, with SSL and HTTP/2

We check what the site runs on, where the domain sits and what credentials exist. That rarely takes more than an hour.

Move
The move is prepared and only switched over once the new copy works. The old one stays online until then.

Operate
From then on updates, backups and monitoring run. You simply send change requests by email.
Prices
Hosting including SSL and backups costs €15 per month, maintenance with updates and small changes €39 per month — together €54 per month. The domain costs €15 per year. If you also want servers on your own premises looked after, that is covered by server management from €89 per month. Guide prices, net plus VAT.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take over sites you did not build?
Yes. We first check the state the site is in and tell you honestly whether running it is worth it or a revision comes out cheaper.
What counts as a “small change”?
Copy, images, opening hours, prices, a new person on the team page — the things that come up day to day. New sub-pages or new functionality are projects and are quoted separately.
Where are the servers?
In data centres inside the EU. On request we name the location and provider in writing — you need that for your data protection documentation anyway.
What happens if we cancel?
You receive the complete site as a backup and all credentials. The domain stays yours and is transferred to the new provider on request.
